Recently Published: Several Envision Conference presenters recently had their work published in peer reviewed journals. Ava K. Bittner, OD, PhD, co-authored two articles, "Vision Test Variability in Retinitis Pigmentosa and Psychosocial Factors," and "Grating Acuity and Contrast Tests for Clinical Trials of Severe Vision Loss" in Optometry and Vision Science. Olga Overbury, PhD, and Walter Wittich, PhD, were published in Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Science (IOVS) for their study "Barriers to Low Vision Rehabilitation – The Montreal Barriers Study." Karen Kendrick, OTR/L, CLVT, and Shannon Riley, MA, were among the co-authors of "Falling Less in Kansas: Development of a Fall Risk Reduction Toolkit," in the Journal of Aging Research. Robert W. Massof, PhD, and William L. Park, OD, were among the co-authors of "The Impact of Cataract Surgery on Patients from a Low-vision Clinic," published in Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology. Donald Fletcher, MD, co-authored "Target Search and Identification Performance in Low Vision Patients" in IOVS.
